Ask participants: "If you were asked to give a 5-minute presentation on a non-work related topic you're passionate about, what would it be?"
Give everyone 3 minutes to think and jot down their ideas. - Pair Sharing (10 minutes):
Pair up participants and have them share their chosen topics with each other. Encourage them to explain why they chose this topic and what it means to them. Each person gets 5 minutes. - Group Sharing (15 minutes):
Bring the group back together and have each pair briefly share what they learned about each other. Highlight any common themes or surprising discoveries. - Reflection and Wrap-Up (10 minutes):
Conclude the activity by discussing as a group: "How can we leverage these passions and strengths to enhance our team's collaboration and performance?"
Suggest ways to integrate these interests into team projects or activities, and encourage ongoing sharing of personal interests as a team-building practice. - Actionable Wrap-Up:
"How can we incorporate more of what we're passionate about into our workday?"
